People are the heart of Digital Impressions, and nowhere is that more apparent than during Impressions. We’re a team of marketers, designers, developers, managers, analysts—each with our own quirks and talents. But when award season rolls around, titles take a backseat to the stories behind each name.
The Star Performer nominees this year showcased the depth of talent across DI. In Marketing, names like Aditya, Paramjit, Vikas, and Ruchi highlighted campaigns that exceeded expectations and creative strategies that drove results. In Social Media, EVA and Rajat stood out for building engagement and community. Over in BD and Accounts, Ashita Satija and Aman Kumar Lal kept projects on track and clients happy. When their names were called, applause was loud because everyone knew the dedication these roles require.
Recognition at DI isn’t limited to job descriptions, though. Fun awards let us celebrate the personalities that make our workdays brighter. The Good Vibes award honors someone whose positivity lifts others; this year’s winner had a knack for turning stressful deadlines into laughter. The Team Player award goes to the person who always offers a helping hand, whether or not it’s their project. Most Dedicated celebrates the colleague who pushes through obstacles to get the job done. Snack Ninja recognizes the one you’ll always find in the pantry, somehow making the last samosa disappear. Laughing Buddha goes to our resident joker who can lighten even the grimmest meetings.
Impressions is also where new talent shines. Every year, since April, we welcome new joiners—and the Rising Star award honors those who hit the ground running. Their fresh ideas and eagerness are reminders of where DI is headed. Special mentions like Guiding Light (for our mentors) and Most Improved keep the focus on growth and support.
The performances mirror the diverse interests of our team. Ayza’s dance was a beautiful blend of classical and contemporary, revealing her creative side outside of client briefs. Aan’s guitar performance brought in a rock-and-roll vibe, showcasing unexpected versatility. The ramp walk, led by Eva, was less about fashion and more about confidence—team members strutting proudly as their colleagues cheered.
Looking around during the event, you could see the DI culture in action. Colleagues from different departments sitting together, whispering guesses about winners. Mentors standing up to clap for juniors they’d watched grow. Teams chanting their peers’ names during nominations. Even C-suite executives laughing along during fun awards.
When the day ended and trophies were packed away, it wasn’t the awards themselves that lingered—it was the conversations that continued outside. It was the stories people shared about why they nominated someone for Good Vibes, or how they’d rehearsed their performance, or what it meant to walk across that stage. Impressions is a snapshot of our year, but it also sets the tone for what’s to come. The next day at the office, the energy was different—because at DI, celebrating people isn’t an annual event. It’s a daily practice.
